Welcome to MKSSS’s Smt. Bakul Tambat Institute of Nursing Education
The Smt. Bakul Tambat Institute of Nursing Education was started in the Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha’s expansive campus in Pune in August 2000. The institute is approved by the Indian Nursing Council, Delhi and the Maharashtra Nursing Council. The institute runs a 3 1/2-year Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery course for the benefit of 200 girl students. It started a Bachelor Programme in Nursing from August 2004 for the benefit of 200 students. It started in Jan 2009, M.Sc Nursing programme of 2 years duration in three specialties: Medical – Surgical Nursing, Obstetrics & Gynecological Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing for the benefit of students. It has started 1 and 1/2-years RANM course for the benefit of students.
